Cookie Policy
Last updated: 29 April 2026
In short
- We use a small number of cookies — mostly to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
- We don't use ad-tracking cookies and we don't share browsing data with advertisers.
- You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but parts of Haylo (like staying logged in) won't work without them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files your browser stores when you visit a website. They let the site remember things between page loads — like that you're signed in, which suburb you searched, or that you dismissed a banner.
The cookies we use
- Essential: session cookies that keep you signed in and protect your session using strict same-site rules. These can't be disabled without breaking the marketplace.
- Preferences: browser storage (including local storage) that remembers the suburb and distance you last searched.
- Analytics: where enabled, first-party usage measurement so we can see which screens are slow and where to focus improvements. We don't join this data with your name or medical details.
- Payments: Stripe sets cookies within its embedded card fields to detect fraud. Required for any clinic with a card-on-file flow.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies, block them, or set your browser to ask first — search your browser's help for "manage cookies". If you block essential cookies, you won't be able to stay signed in or complete a booking.
Updates to this policy
If we add or remove a cookie category, we'll update this page and bump the "last updated" date above.
